The product:

An app that lets parents easily submit and manage camp or school forms electronically, with the option for doctors to review and sign them by the next day. It also keeps all of a child’s health records organized and accessible in one place.

The problem:

Parents often face the headache of keeping their children’s health records organized and making sure medical forms are signed on time for school or camp. With multiple kids, shifting deadlines, and busy schedules, the paperwork can quickly become overwhelming, especially when families are on the go. Now, instead of making a trip to the doctor’s office, parents can submit forms directly through the app and have them reviewed and signed electronically, saving time and stress.

My role:

My role was Lead UX Designer, responsible for overseeing the user experience strategy, designing intuitive interfaces, and ensuring the platform met the needs of busy parents managing their children’s health records.

The goal:

The goal of SwiftSign is to take the stress out of managing kids’ health records and medical forms. The app keeps everything organized and up to date—from vaccinations to school and camp paperwork—while sending timely reminders so nothing slips through the cracks. With SwiftSign, parents can submit forms electronically and have doctors sign them without ever stepping into the office, making enrollment simple and hassle-free.

My Responsibilities:

• Conducted user research and interviews to understand parents’ pain points.

• Developed user personas and journey maps to guide design decisions.

• Created wireframes and interactive prototypes to visualize the app flow.

• Designed the user interface with a focus on simplicity and accessibility.

• Collaborated with developers to ensure design feasibility and implementation.

• Tested prototypes with users and iterated based on feedback.

• Established brand guidelines to maintain a consistent look and feel.

Coordinated with stakeholders to align design goals with business objectives.
